Questions: How Can We Get Closer to God?

Prayer: Larry: Dear Father, thank you for this meeting, we love you. We are so appreciative for all of the blessings that you have bestowed upon each one of us. We pray for the healing of this world and its people, and we pray for peace in the world. We pray for the coming of Monjoronson. Thank you for everything Father, we love you, in Christ Michael's name, Amen.

JarEl: TR, George. Good evening. It is I, your Teacher JarEl. It is good to be back, it is good to see this small group of dedicated individuals. In the last session I discussed with you the particular path which you have chosen. That path is to follow God and to attempt to do the will of God, so that one day you may come face to face with Him.

Now today, I want to discuss with you the different religions in the world, the different paths that exist and how in time you will see that they are all valid paths. Whenever an individual begins to believe in something greater than himself, he is seeking God. Most religions have this basis, most religions allow you to believe in something greater than yourself. Now it is true that some religions have not grown as they should have. But nevertheless, those believers have chosen to follow something greater than themselves.

You should not judge or belittle anyone's belief. It is a path in which they are on and this path will eventually take them to God. You can look back on your own individual path and there are times when you can say that there were mistakes that you made or had beliefs which you now no longer believe in. But nevertheless, that was the path that you choose and it was a valid path, for you were hungry and you were searching for God and meaning. Eventually that path led you to where you are now.

Many of you can say that you are thankful for where you are now, but believe me those that have different beliefs than you are also saying that they are thankful for where they are now. It is all a matter of perspective and it is all relative to your own life. You cannot compare one with the other. You have your own individual paths in which you travel. Some travel at a higher rate, at a higher speed and yet some take it more calmly. It is about understanding the individual and where that person is. You cannot rightly know a person's life if you do not allow for understanding between you. Hopefully your own experience will give you sufficient understanding that will allow you to give others their space and time.

For in time everyone shall mature, for in time everyone grows into the grace of God. Everyone follows their inner path that leads them to eternity. Yes, you are on that path yourself, you are traveling down that path that leads to eternity. It is a very adventurous journey. And so it is with others, they are all on a very adventurous journey towards the light of God.

Michael: TR, George. Greetings, this is your Father, brother Michael. I bring you my peace and my love. I am very grateful for the love you all give towards one another. It has always been my intention to show you the way. I do not force this on you, it is by your own freewill that you choose to follow and I am very thankful that so many of you have chosen this path. The Universe smiles upon you, you are a special child. I hold you chose to my heart and my prayers are with you always and forever. I will fill your world with light and life, and when you are filled you shall give forth the promise that is Urantia. Go with my blessings and my love. Goodnight.

All: Thank you Michael, goodnight.

JarEl: TR, George. This is JarEl, are there any questions?

Lucille: How can we get closer to God?

JarEl: TR, George. By asking that very question my dear. When you ask "How can I get closer to God", it is you who answers that very question. You are searching for God. You are asking questions and thereby seeking God. You are becoming more intimate with God. By that very question, that very notion, you are allowing yourself to become ever so closer to your Creator. You are seeking my dear, and when you seek God, you shall find God. So continue asking that question, continue searching. For He is in you, He is always in you for all of eternity and you will find Him. You will find Him.

Lucille: Thank you. JarEl: TR, George. I am in awe of Michael. Wherever he goes he leaves his energy behind him. This room is charged with the living essence of Michael. He is a wonderful brother and a wonderful Father to us all and with that I leave you, goodnight.

All: Goodnight JarEl.
