Subject: “Spiritual Duty.”

Teacher Ophelius: “The message for today is about having the strength and courage to comply with the demands of daily life while pursuing the call to spiritual duty.  What do I mean by this?  Spiritual duty is that innate drive you feel that moves you to do the things spirit leads you to do.  To comply with this leading means you are aligning your will with the will of the Creator and by aligning your will with God, you are showing strength and courage, because the easy road in life is to play it safe, to roll over, or to do for the self.

“It takes strength and courage to put aside the routines of daily life to listen and to act in accordance with the leadings of your Indwelling, and to work step by step in moving closer to perfection day by day -- meditating, listening, praying -- communicating with spirit with the intent of doing something for others that will help them to become stronger, happier, healthier, wiser, and more in tune with spirit.  The selfless acts of love, kindness, and compassion -- the bearing of the fruits of the spirit -- are the results of such selfless intentions that lead to spiritual growth and soul progression.

“How easy it is to get caught up in the illusions of mundane life, survival routines, and the pleasures of entertainment that keep the mind busy and unaware of the things of spirit.  How easy it is to listen to the talking heads of media, to be told what to think and what opinions to have – to live in fear, under controls, and feel powerless to pursue the deep desires of the heart.  My friends, we must put forth the extra effort to free ourselves from this bondage of fear and control -- the illusions this world has placed in your mind to keep you from your true purpose.  Realize that you have, living within you, the Spirit of the Creator that can transform you and bring you out of that coma of surface dwelling and fear and into real freedom.

“Turn off the TV and Radio, and use that time to listen to spirit.  Be courageous and become aware of the greater realities that exist around you that are calling you to ‘be’ who you really are -- a child of the Creator who is destined to ascend into glory and perfection, moving upward and inward, seeking perfection, and becoming like God as is the divine intention for your being.  You are so much more than what you have been told by the world and there are no real limits or barriers in your path when you free yourself from the illusions and lies that keep you from knowing the truth.  There is a balance that can be had between the necessities of living and the pursuits of a spirit-led life, but it takes strength and courage to move your feet and walk in the direction of truth and purpose.

“Take that leap of faith my friends, and dare to quiet the voices of fear and control, and listen to that still small voice within, for it is this voice that leads to truth, freedom, and a purpose-filled life that brings the experiences of love, joy and accomplishment of service.

Mentor: “Whilst you are in meditation, I see a chance to interject a few words about ‘being concerned’.  Being concerned about a certain state of affairs shows us that people are beginning to wake up to a greater reality.  Being concerned often starts with small matters, which will hopefully evolve into greater things.

“Heaven knows there is enough to be concerned about on this planet, and people truly need to take the blinders from their eyes to see reality for what it truly is.  How about all the dangers with chemical poisons?  Do not allow yourselves to be dumbed down so you become totally unaware, like zombies, and so others can lord it over you all.

“You are meant to be a race of independent thinkers, so notice what is happening all around you.  Your media and entertainment industry with all their advertisements are pretty well dictating what to buy and what to see.  There is plainly no reason for anyone to keep up with the 'Jones'.  Life is too important to be imitating others, or discovering a need for what another owns.

“Truly, where is the common sense in this?  I beg of you to wake up and ‘do something independent’ like taking responsibility for your personal health by becoming aware of what you should be imbibing in the way of quality food and especially pure drinking water.  If any of these are of a lesser quality than wholesome, your immune systems will suffer, and you will open yourselves up to all kinds of weaknesses and diseases.

“To even broach the issue of chemicals, especially in vaccinations, is enough to make your celestials friends cringe about what you are putting into your delicate chemical/electrical systems.  Realize that it is each one’s responsibility to start thinking for themselves as to what it is they need in their precious bodies.  Do not let well-meaning or misguided mortals that are poisoned by greed dictate what to drink and eat, with the consequence that the brain loses its precious capacity to think clearly.

“Think about how you can turn the present situation around.  It is all in your power, and each one carries their responsibilities in being concerned about the state of the planet.  Be a part of the solution, not part of the problem.  The whole universe stands ready to help, but only if and when you ask.”

Sharmon: “You have the option of writing it for yourself, or have me dictate it to you.  It is after all routine, and I know we are fairly well on the same page in this matter, and as well, it’s a worthy follow-up to Bzutu’s talk about borrowed dogma (receiver agrees to listen).

“It would almost seem logical to conclude that the longer a religion is in existence, the more distantly removed its dogma will become from the founder’s enlightenment and his or her documentation or word of mouth reporting.  However, when you generalize about the Sikh religion being most factual in regard to the actual function and reality of the celestial world, you overlook the greatly advanced minds among Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims and Christians, excluding even those who belong to no creed, just having their spiritual endeavors.

“That was worth being reminded of, yes?  Let us now consider those who have recently become subscribers to the (11:11) Group’s messages, but even more so those who use the Akashic Construct to attain a working relationship with us, Midwayers and Teachers.

“I specifically direct my words to the latter – the AC participants -- and in general to all, reminding you that humans are easily the most complex of the Creator’s children, and that there are aspects, workings, and even destinies of humans that are not understood by any of the Creator’s offspring, even those of the highest of orders.  Indeed, you have a body, brain, a working mind and personality, and everyone can clearly note that.  You also have a soul we call the human mid-mind, but unseen, it is so often forgotten about.

“Much the pity is the fact that so few of you consider or even know of the Gift the Creator of all, which is bestowed upon you all.  This eternal Guide we call the Thought Adjuster, this very Fragment of the God of all creation, is your Pilot and Partner, your identity and potential to eternal life, and in aiming to hear from us Midwayers, Teachers, Angels or Melchizedeks, how appropriate for you to give yourself the best chance of success, and for you to first of all request to receive your Thought Adjuster’s blessing in such communication endeavor!  Consider, dear friends.
